Merkamueble exotic “scam or a commercial activity?

March 17, 2011 by Forex Market

John Estébanez, editor Invertia

On 6 March, after waiting six months Merkamueble handed us a piece of furniture, my wife and I went to your place of Megapark in San Sebastian de los Reyes with the intention that you sent the signal that we had 180 euros given.

The deadline we were given initially was between 30 and 40 days. We were never informed of delays and when we called, we were told we would receive it shortly.

Well, it promptly so fed up, went to the store and went back to talk to the business that we sold the furniture, he apologized to the manufacturer lied about the time and its management (so to speak) after-sales, with so no choice but to talk to the manager.

Same pitiful excuses and above all, firm resolve not to return the signal. The reason: they had already received the cabinet (but had not had the courtesy to inform us.) In any case, the furniture and gave us showed no evidence of its existence.

And then it was too late for us. We were there with the intention of recovering our money. We felt deceived. A feeling grew when, in objecting to the charge that after such a long period we had seen similar deeply discounted furniture, agreed to offer a ridiculous discount of 5%.

You’re laughing at us?

That seems. Outraged and after filling out the claim form, leave the establishment. But honestly, I thought mine would be a peculiar case, a victim of neglect and, above all, of the lures and lies of a few determined people. Unfortunately, with this company in Seville, or at least with most of its franchisees, this is not true. Plenty of complaints, not neglect, also, but on deception and fraud. And delays, long delays.

All or almost all companies have problems with claims, but if I bring this up because staff in the case of Merkamueble, the multiplication of anecdotes makes this category. In fact, my case is in very little next to other customers suffered.

Indeed, Merkamueble, well above any other company in the sector, build up a spectacular display of complaints and claims, as can be seen in this link from Ciao. Or in other forums on the Internet if you search combining “Merkamueble” with words like “fraud”, “theft” or “scam”.

May also see the logic in the comments anger, resignation in most customers’ ripped off. ” A complaint is an expensive process and claims to consumption do not seem to have much effect. In addition, governments seem more determined to prevent further run on the motorways and not Let ‘s smoke in bars that protect the rights of consumers.

The complaints are as common points Merkamueble poor quality of the furniture purchased (usually delivered damaged or wrong), its installation and spectacular negligent delay in the deadlines. All this with a disastrous sales management.

More than harmful, non-existent. Merkamueble billed in advance. Once you got the money, customer satisfaction is in the background to the company.

A curious business policy. Both cash advance provides treasury and discourages Merkamueble meet deadlines. Merkamueble benefit is in addition to managing a business type that the client will come only once or twice in his life. Or some more. Hence its zero interest in providing good service.

I exaggerate? Do you have something similar happened with Merkamueble? Or have you been abused by another similar company?

Do you serve for something claims to consumption? Is it worth getting into a trial for relatively small amounts? Can we protect consumers effectively against these abuses?
