Attempting to steal passwords and Liberty Reserve Forex Companies

April 18, 2012 by Forex Market

Recently received several emails eh supposedly from Panamoney Liberty Reserve and inviting me to that “security” update my password.

Logically this is just a strategy to steal your passwords and is not something new, and even paypal some banks have had this same problem.

Actually the link you receive in the mail does not take you to the official website of the company that “supposedly” get the email it takes you to a page very similar but in reality is not the official site but a that is ready to steal your data.

This is just beginning, we must be careful because soon could be more forex companies that suffer such attacks, so we must be very careful and always when entering passwords must be sure the official site of the company.

What strikes me is how we could disguise the recipient so that in the case of liberty of the address book I received the email is no_reply@libertyreserve.com and if the recipient was panamoney: support @ panamoney . net so I see these people have found ways to send emails to the recipient changing paresca the email was sent by the same company.

The email I received from Liberty Reserve is as follows:

============================================
    PLEASE NOTE THAT in all e-mails from Liberty Reserve we will:
    Never send you any links (except account activation e-mail) or attached files.
    Never ask you to send us your password and / or login PIN.

Actually the destination was this:

Http://libertyreserve.accuont.us.com/?continue/verify/cancel-remove-

Actually the fate of the leading email address to:

Http://libertyreserve.accuont.us.com/?continue/verify/anuarinvestor @ gmail.com /

This will surely continue to happen with more forex investment firms, for it moves a lot of money there, also will continue happening with people who have bank accounts or paypal, among others.

I have no account panamoney.net and still received the email, which makes us think that these scammers send millions of emails database that buy other people to cheat.

In forex internet and if there are serious business, but as in any business there are also many people with no ethics or good intentions.
